Wow! Sounds like you are certainly having an adventure. I am here in Japan (Okinawa), having just arrived here from 3 1/2 years in England in various jobs ranging from Log Planner, General's aide de camp, to Aircraft Maintenance officer. I am the Installation Deployment Officer for Kadena AB (at least since I got here two weeks ago). I left AFIT in Sept '94 and moved with newborn daughter and wife to Cannon AFB. We spent just over 3 years there (also as an Installation Deployment Officer), before moving to England. I now have two daughters, Caitlin and Sarah, nearly 7 and 2 1/2 years old respectively. I have been enjoying immensely the travel opportunities provided over the past few years. I was fortunate enough to have witnessed some historic things. I managed the military logistics portion of President Clinton's historic visit through Africa in early 1998. I actually met Presidents Bush (Sr) and Clinton while doing my aide de camp job. I got to be involved in the refugee relief ops in Albania during the war in Kosovo in the summer of 1999. As I am sure you are seeing in Israel, you never realize just how fortunate you really are until you find yourself witnessing the desperate conditions others are forced to face almost daily. It was great to see your note and I hope to hear from you sometime. My office e-mail is: .

Sayonara,
Mark
